Australian Credit & Financial Services Licensees

Australian Credit Licence (ACL) holdersAustralian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) holders and authorised credit representatives are required to be a member of an ASIC-approved external dispute resolution (EDR) scheme such as CIO. Find out more information about financial services licensing.

Limited Australian Financial Services Licensees

Accountants providing advice on self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs) to retail clients will be required to hold a limited Australian financial services (AFS) licence and join an external dispute resolution (EDR) scheme such as CIO from 1 July 2016.
